Anxiety

I had the worst panic attack I have ever experienced today.

I had gone home for a few days due to an emergency. Today was my day returning to London.
It didn't go smoothly and this was my experience.

Everything was fine to begin with on the train, the usual noisy family with the baby decided to surround me but at times like that you smile, put your headphones in and read a book.

It was the underground next. I had two different tubes to get on, the first I was fine on. Two stops and I was at my first destination.
The second one caught me bad. It wasn't busy, I could have sat down but when you are lugging a suitcase and a heavy bag its easier to stand up with them. Only 30 minutes and about 8 stops until my destination. I thought I would cope. I was wrong.

I was just over half way through my journey, three stops left and it kicked in. I started getting shaky, like really shaky. My heart was pounding, I could feel myself burning up. Next was the panic, the sheer panic. I didn't know what to do when I started burning up all of a sudden. I just froze. Became fainter by the minute and was seconds off passing out in the middle of a tube. I didn't know what to do, I panicked even more and I had no one there to help me. I was alone. I jumped off at the next stop as quick as I could and sat down at the nearest bench. Not knowing where i was or what to do. I was scared. Couldn't catch my breath. I just wanted to burst into tears; collapse. I knew I needed to stay strong, after all I was almost home. I hopped onto the tube after I had calmed myself, caught my breathe and hoped for the best. Hoped I would make it back safe without collapsing or crying.

I finally made it to the comfort of my new home, not feeling much more relaxed because I'm scared it will happen again but next time not knowing if I will be able to escape, instead will faint.

This has been my most personal post so far, i understand it may not interest a lot of you but i know there is a lot of people out there suffering with anxiety problems and social situations. I just wanted to say to them, you're not alone.
Oh and a blog post all about London will be soon, just want to gather loads of photos first!

Stuck in a rut!

Leggings, the lethal weapon in fashion. They get us stuck in a legging rut, we wear them day in day out. They are just to unbelievably comfy and go with everything... as long as it covers your butt or your leggings aren't entirely see through! Haha..
Now there are many different types of leggings now but i'm talking mainly about the classic black pair. I have gone through too many of these and have tried them from Primark, H&M, Topshop, River Island, Republic, there are probably many other places that I have forgotten about that I have purchased leggings from.
Where have you bought yours from? Is there any in particular that are best... I want to try some from Zara.
So my story about where I have bought them from:
Primark- Well what can I say, for about £3 you get what you pay. Completely see through so you see what any fancy or granny like underwear you are wearing (we all have those days where we want to be comfy and put on our floral granny pants ;) haha). However you could cure that by wearing a long top with them that covers your bum.. another problem is they get real baggy at the knees. Like real baggy. And last of all, they last a couple of weeks, if that!
H&M- Well I still have them. They just don't get worn that much. They have gone incredibly pocky and just look.. i'm not quite sure, old and a bit worn. They are also very thick and warm, great for winter when it's really cold though. And I think they were about £9.
River Island- My mum and I have gone through so many pairs of these they were only £10 when I started buying them. Why don't I buy them anymore? They've changed them, they used to last longer and feel nicer & be a bit thicker. Now they just aren't as nice. They started to get holes in really quickly but they were the best at covering the nickers up!
Republic- These were by a brand called Vila. They were great. Until I ripped them on barbed wire! They were slightly long but warm, comfortable and weren't that see through. Only problem, don't know where I could get them from now republic has gone and USC has taken over. Not too sure if they sell them now.
Topshop- My current pair at the moment. They are alright, I got them for about £11 with my student discount. No holes so far. Not too bad with the whole nicker flashing thing but i'm conscious about wearing them with short tops anyway so wear them with something that covers my butt even if it is a big, slouchy cardigan.

When will they design a pair that are just perfect!! No holes ever, don't go baggy. Are warm but cool in the summer. The perfect length. Don't show anything through them and shape your assets a bit more!
I really want to try disco pants and riding pants, but I just cant find any nice ones at a reasonable price. American Apparel have ideal ones but they are far too pricey for little me.

Anyway, onto the whole getting out of the legging rut. Switching them up for jeans or skirts and tights from time to time. For example you wear a slouchy white jumper, why not wear it with skinny distressed jeans and some little chelsea or biker boots. Or in the summer wearing a muscle tank, why not pair it with a skater skirt for an edgy look and some flip flops for comfort.

If you want to see more, maybe about what outfits I wear with leggings and how else I could wear it then just let me know... I would be happy too. Maybe if this post gets lots of views I will make that blog post. I will include photos and different seasonal outfits.

Anywho, i'm sure you have had enough of me rambling on. All about leggings but I think it is essential!

Something DIfferent: Cat Nails

My nails of the day.. Cat Nails!

So this week I decided to try and create some cats on my nails, well that happened. Yeah, I know they are not amazing.. in fact some of the cats look slightly scary. However, I tried my best and wont give up until they look perfect! I do not have photos showing step by step but it was quite easy, but I do recommend nail art pens because these weren't so easy with brushes. I began with a clear base coat as always. Next, I took a white nail varnish and painted a third of my nails with two triangles covering the final third. Time for the face, I took a black nail varnish and a tiny brush to paint on the eyes, nose and mouth. To finish it all off I applied a top to seal in my design. Ta-da... Done!
This was my first time doing this nail art, but I have tried others so why not check out my previous galaxy nails. I hope you liked this mini blog post.
